BrassBastardz was given birth in 2003 by saxophonist Alvydas Maciulskas and trumpeter Aurimas Rimeikis. At that time the band was comprised of many great musicians playing in the most popular homegrown bands. After having thrown couple of great concerts BrassBastardz seized their performances and moved to the musical underground. Even having stopped performing the band kept moving.
Through these years 4 Vinyl’s where released. They are now played all over the world, the majority being spread in Europe. A great contribution to this being the fact that a line of designer eyewear from very same vinyl with BrassBastardz music was released. Every eyewear had its own name, which matched musician’s name.
In 2005 the first video for BrassBastardz song Jiemah was created, which won nominations in Lithuania for Best debut of the year along with Most stylish video in TANGO TV awards 2005.

BrassBastardz successfully combines a variety of styles. Elements of HIP HOP, SOUL, HOUSE, SWING, BIG BEAT, and DRUM & BASS are combined to create a new sound.
